Around noon while I was heating up my lunch, I took this picture looking out the window of our office at work with my phone. At one point it looked like a blizzard but by the time I had a chance to take a shot, the snow had stopped.

On our way home from the dentist appointments, I took the back road that leads behind my house and along our river. I was running out of daylight and with a whining child in the back seat, I stopped on the side of the road, stood outside my door and snapped two pictures. This was the best of the two and I will revisit this area when I have more time and more light.

After snapping the picture above, I found the intersection this road leads to was blocked off due to bridge construction. I had to back track a few miles and during our ride home, my daughter asked how the truck knew where to turn. I asked her what she meant and she said that the truck's arrows always point in the direction we turn. After a few seconds, I realized she was talking about the blinker system. I explained to her how the blinkers work and that I am the one making them turn on. She then tells me that the lady I yelled at the other day must have had broken blinkers on her car :-)
